The most amazing book ever - Rated 5/5
When I asked my Dad for a book, he bought me this. I read it in two and a half days. It is a must for kids that like plastic figures. Lynne Reid-Banks writes it in a way that made me feel as if I was there. Enjoy this book!

Still as good as it was when I was a kid - Rated 5/5
I have such fond memories as a kid of being utterly absorbed by the story of Omri and the adventures he had with his tiny indian friend. Rarely in a trilogy have I seen all three books meet the same high standard, but this is a wonderful exception. I'm a 25-year-old adult now, and I still love to settle down and re-read this one. I remember it being a very comfortable, easy-read as a kid, and being utterly un-put-downable. And it still is. A definite must buy.

a charming trip back to childhood - Rated 5/5
I was first introduced to the indian when i was 9, my teacher at school read it to our class. i remember being genuinely enthralled in the adventures of omri, patrick and their tiny freinds and went to the library shortly after to reread the book to myself. Definatly recomended for children age 8+, if read at the right age it can be truly delighting to re-read 10 years on like i had the pleasure of doing this afternoon

absolutly amazing!!!! - Rated 5/5
this book is amazing down to the last page. its mainly about a boy, omri, who gets a cupboard for his birthday. it has a lock but no key. after getting a key from his mother, that once belonged to his great- granmother he tries it in the lock...and it fits. he puts a plastic toy indian in it and locks it before going to sleep. in the morning he wakes...to find that that the indian had come to life.
