I've not read it all ! - Rated I chose to receive this Bible on becoming a Methodist Local Preacher because I'd heard how accurate the translation from original Hebrew/Greek is. In places it seems to be quite a raw translation - word for word but where word for word translation is not possible, it seems to rely too heavily on sticking to traditional interpretation i.e. King James' translation. I have found the concordance to be one of the best features of this Bible: It's very in-depth compared to other ones I've used. Despite not being quite what I'd hoped for, this is still about the best Bible for those wanting to get near to the original text - though it doesn't dispose of the need for other resources (Greek/Hebrew word studies, commentaries, other Bible translations etc) MY FAVOURITE BIBLE ESV - Rated This is a BIBLE you can trust. Faithful to the original languages. Word for Word. Evangelical revision of RSV. JI Packer and Wayne Grudem part of the ESV team. Comes with concordance and cross references.
