Preachy and Impractical - Rated This book is out of touch with reality. Recipes were time consuming and expensive. No practical information, for example, on freezing batches of food - how many people have time to make these extravangant recipes fresh each day?! Preaches about breastfeeding - sometimes it is not practical to breastfeed exclusively and who needs another book making mother's feel guilty if they don't feed their babies! Concise and comprehensive - Rated Complete with recipes, nutritional information, and an overview of each of the stages of weaning, this book tells you just about everything you need to know about introducing your baby to solids. It emphasises that learning to eat solid foods should be a positive experience and helps you start your child on the way to a lifetime of healthy eating. Incidentally, the Amazon review says this book isn't about weaning -- I think this must be a typographic error, because that's exactly what the book is about.

Concise and comprehensive - Rated 5/5
Complete with recipes, nutritional information, and an overview of each of the stages of weaning, this book tells you just about everything you need to know about introducing your baby to solids. It emphasises that learning to eat solid foods should be a positive experience and helps you start your child on the way to a lifetime of healthy eating.
