Fantastic revision aid - Rated Science is one area in which most children need to do some revision - after all, they have covered a great deal of topics in their time in the Juniors. This handy book is a great help for revision and is perfect for the ambitious child who wants to do well in the End of Key Stage 2 Sats. It is split up into 8 weekly sessions - each of which is subdivided into days. Each day, there is a page of crucial information to read, presented in a highly readable format followed by a page of questions relating to it - some very quick to answer; some taking a little longer. Each double page spead should take 15 to 20 minutes for an average child to complete. All the main topics are covered in a fun and interesting way, which should support and reinforce the Science teaching that is continuing at your child's school. Although if done over an 8 week period, it may become a little onerous; if you were to start with it now, your child would still be able to have some 'time off' before the dreaded 'Silly Satsumas' (as my class call them!)
