Great Buy Great Advice - Rated Well where to start The book was packed with information on survival, it essentially tells you how to survive in any climate. How to make Igloos, bamboo shelters and cups, along with typical forest shelters, is all included in this book, as well as a section on camp craft, knots, and an essential kit list. Great buy a camping essential. great little book - Rated I keep coming back to this little book all the time. I am a big kid at hard and love the idea of surviing in the wild, not that I do that much. It is clear consise and informative with all you need to know about how to survive in the wild. It is not packed full of pretty photos but simple clear line drawings. which is all you need. This would be my luxury on desert island discs Worth Every Penny - Rated Read through the reviews and wondered who these people actually are. Then, instead of analysing it all, chose to buy. Well, it is a handbook and that's the great thing about it. You can always find a little space for it. The content and pictures are excellent. I love the way the book is layed out in sections, applicable at different times or circumstances. As per other review comments, the content is great, with a little of the common-sense stuff, to some of the more advanced techniques and notes. Okay, so I'm not trudging through the middle of the Borneo jungle in a loin-cloth just yet. But hiking in the UK, travelling to lots of places in Africa, this book always accompanies me. and I constantly read and re-read it, as well as apply what's in it. I've also referred to it in a couple of circumstances in Tanzania that proved invaluable. Value for money.....awesome. Tiny but packed with good stuff - Rated Had a bit of a shock when this arrived as it is a tiny book but as they say.....size doesn't matter. The content is good. a satisfied customer - Rated the book proved to be very interesting,i had not realised however that it was really a ""pocket"" book to take along in your rucksack!

I keep coming back to this little book all the time. I am a big kid at hard and love the idea of surviing in the wild, not that I do that much.

It is clear consise and informative with all you need to know about how to survive in the wild. It is not packed full of pretty photos but simple clear line drawings. which is all you need.
