A Ghost Of A Chance - Rated
An enjoyable read, stories of ghosts that will not have you hiding under the bed in fright; stories about simple people and there simple lives(and deaths)a few that have a scare or two but all in all good stories; a man that shows that not all ghosts are mean.

A Disappointing Read - Rated
I bought this book hoping for an insight into well known Derek Acorah's abilities.
Unfortunately most of the book was taken up by relaying well known ghost stories about famous haunted places.
There are a few (but obvious) ghost hunting tips, such as take a torch and camera !
The book very briefly touches on different forms of spirit contact in laymans terms ie: ouiji boards, table tipping, but doesn't go in depth at all.
Also some of Dereks own stories from giving people readings- none were terribly interesting or entertaining.
I disliked Dereks constant referring to his "Tv work" and his "other book" throughout the book- it just seemed he was always trying to sell and prove himself.
A boring and disapointing read.
Derek fans might disagree, but I learned nothing new or interesting from this book.

I loved this book. Derek really opens up to his past in the various chapters and has some fastinating stories to tell. I was rivoted from start to finish and couldn't put it down!

I personally am a great admirer of Derek's work, but sceptics should also give this a chance; it may just change their minds...

The book is very nicely layed out with chapters devoted to particular ghostly topics such as ghosts in the home, workplace and a few other less ordinary places such as theatres.

The final few chapters provide very useful information and helpful tips about how to try and track down some of those elusive ghosts yourself and list some of the places that Derek has been too that have provided plenty of paranornmal activity.

Especially at this price, you really should definately pick this up. You really won't regret it, whether you're a believer or a sceptic.

The latest offering from Derek Acorah is just as good as his previous books. Although this is a little different from his previous books and begins with his background and how he came to be who he is today.

I really found this book enjoyable and especially detailing the various haunted places he has been to and which he recommends, it certainly makes the reader want to investigate the places for his or herself, I know I do!

After reading this I am very much looking forward to his new series which I am sure will far outshine Most haunted.

A brilliant book from one of Great Britain's great psychics.

What a read - Rated
Wow - What a fantastic insight into Britains most loved psychic medium.
In the book not only does Derek give information on haunted locations for budding ghost hunters to visit, he also gives a great insight into his own experiences when visiting haunted locations....and not all experiences are paranoral.

You will find this book very hard to put down as you fall in love with Derek's charm.
And having met the man himself on several occasions i can safely say that the very charming man that you will meet in this book is exactly the same in real life, there is no false persona. Which is very reasurring.

Sit back, relax and put a bit of time aside to really get into this book....it is worth it.
