Mothers Day Disappointment !! - Rated 2/5
I received "There's No Place Like Here" today, as a Mothers Day present from my children, as they thought it was a new book. I was disappointed to see it was "A Place Called Here" in a different cover !! Can publishers do this? and does the author know ? Meanwhile, I have 2 rather upset children.

fantastic book - Rated 5/5
I have read all of her books, yes they are different but in such a way that they become real, they are so magical and mysterious that i found them great.
One minute i am laughing the next i am crying but that is why they are so good.
Highly reccommended to anyone of all ages.
Can't wait for the next book in April.
cherry:)

Magical? The spark was missing for me! - Rated 1/5
I bought this having quite enjoyed 'PS I Love You' and hoping for an entertaining and 'easy' read, but I was very disappointed. It has a very far-fetched story line, which really started to annoy me after a while and the characters aren't likeable or believable. I honestly think if anyone else but Cecilia Ahern (ie: an unknown writer) had submitted this to a publishing house, it would have been thrown out the door!
Sorry, but it's put me right off reading anything else by her.

Mixed Opinions to Start - Rated 4/5
I have read all of cecelia ahern's books and loved them so when i started this one i was expecting the same kind of love story theme. To begin with i was dissappointed by how wierd and unbelieveable the story was, although the characters and relationships were very well written. So in part i agree with some of the bad reviews given here . . . .

However, i carried on reading, never one to leave a book and never finish it, and i am so glad that i did. Although unbelievable to begin with the story starts to make sense and i found myself rushing to read through to find out how it unfolded.

I was impressed by the simple ways in which the two parts of the story were linked and found that it changed my perspective on life . . .which i believe that cecelia ahern has the ability to do in all of her stories.

I would not say that i enjoyed this as much as ps i love you as it is a completely different kind of story, but i would recommend anyone who has tried the book and found the first 100 pages not to their taste, to open their minds and read on, as this book really has been a treat!

Answers lots of questions - Rated 5/5
This was the first Cecelia Ahern book I had read, and only really read it as someone insisted I read it. I was hooked! I know there are a lot of bad reviews on Amazon for it, saying it's "a bit peter pan". Yes it is, but that's what makes it so different, as it's chick lit, with a fairytale mixed in, and I found it a good combination. A really good light hearted read and I for one would read it again.
