Intended for Levels 4-6 Maths only - Rated This item drops a star on my review because the publishers do not make it clear that this title is aimed at children taking the Level 4-6 papers only. I bought this title for my son, who is trying to get a Level 6a in Maths. To do so, he is working on up to Level 7 Maths. In the end, we decided that he will use this book on the basis of covering all the topics until he knows them 'backwards' (his words not mine!). That said, this book is good in terms of content. It does cover the syllabus up to Level 6 within an excellent format, and my son liked particularly the fact that each day segment is only one page long, with a page of questions to check understanding. To his mind, this is something he can do before dinner, and thus, revision is not so onerous. In fact, he has asked me to check if there is a similar title for KS3 Science, although I suspect the same problem on levels covered may occur, as there is no mention in the publisher's synopsis. Overall, an excellent book, provided that you are not working beyond Level 6, or are aiming for a high Level 6 and wish to try Levels 7-8.
