Disappointing - Rated I was looking forward to getting this book as I was desperate for some new imput and inspiration on how to live with my thyroid condition (I've been at both ends of the spectrum of thyroid problems). The book is just a rehash of the information available on Mary Shomon's website. I couldn't find anything new. My own experience has led me to believe that keeping things simple is the best way to treat an underactive thyroid. A healthy, balanced diet and regular exersize is the best way to ensure thyroxine uptake and therefore ensure a more balanced thyroid. eye opener - Rated im really pleased with this book, ive had thyroid trouble for over 3 years and this book has opened my eyes to the fact i'm not suffering alone,my thyroid has caused me loads of problem's especially weight gain and it as inspired me to go and ask my doctor question that ive never been told the answer's too
