I ordered this having read all the reviews on Amazon and i have to say I am not disappointed. The book is presented beautifully, the recipes are simply, mouthwatering and oh so good for you.

I've been getting an A&C box for some time but already have lots of recipe books so didn't bother with this book before. Then I looked through it at a friend's house and have since had a few recipes from it, all of which were positively delicious. The book itself is a beautiful tome (I've only seen the hardback but I'm sure the paperback is similarly lush and hefty!), easy on the eye as well as enticing to the stomach. I asked for it for my birthday and am really looking forward to eating my way through its recipes!

Unfortunately Abel and Cole don't deliver to my area but Abel and Cole: Easy, Seasonal, Organic certainly delivered to my table!
I decided to cook up Roasted Squash and Wild Rocket Risotto for me and my girlfriend and, although we don't get organic boxes to our door, there is a nearby farmer's market that provided everything I needed for this easy-to-follow recipe.
I've made risotto in the past and it can go really wrong but Keith Abel's tell-it-like-it-is approach to cooking gave me the confidence to have another stab at it. The food was really rich but definitely delicious and earned me lots of brownie points...
I'd recommend this book to anybody who loves great food but doesn't want to waste time faffing over fiddly preparation. Plus it's particularly good if, like me, your partner is a strict veggie but you enjoy a nice bit of meat - I'll try the Calcutta Lamb Burger recipe for myself next!

Even the book itself is as gorgeous as the recipes it contains, with some of the most mouth-watering and heart-warming photography I have ever seen in a cookbook. It is clearly evident that a lot of thought has gone into the presentation and style of this book in keeping with the high standards and quality foods that Abel & Cole have long been supplying their customers.
Keith Abel's choice of seasonal recipes is inspired and provides a great selection of new ideas mixed in with some golden oldies, enhanced by the inclusion of cleaner, tastier and environmentally sound, organic produce.
This is the cookbook for organic food devotees and anyone else wanting to have a crack at organic living.

A note of advice to anyone thinking of buying this book.
Do not buy this book if you already have "Cooking Outside the Box: The Abel and Cole Seasonal, Organic Cookbook" by Keith Abel.
This is exactly the same book but a paperback version.
