This book is the best book ever. It has tons of suspense and keeps you guessing about what is going to happen next. It also, at the same time, teaches you about how others had felt about the americans and their ways. It gives you a totally different perspective. like others, at first I didnt like the book, but I slowly began to get interested and now I love it.

Laurence Yep has wrote an extremely wonderful book! In the beginning, it was confusing. But I love how it ended! I wish there would be sequel! If you haven't read this, you should!

This book is not a bad book. There's nothing dramatic, although it keeps you awake. It gets intresting towards the end, and when I finished the book I thought it wasn't that bad. I would reccomend this book to people who like rather relaxing stories. The author is trying to express the feeling of a chinese who arived in america. Laurece Yep is a great author.

This book is basically about a young boy who moves from China to America with his father. His father is trying to build an airplane. At the end of the book his dad finally gets his plane to fly. That is the whole plot of the book. It is so boring, it almost put me to sleep. The only reason I read it was because I had to read it for school, and even then, I only read up to about the last few chapters. I hated this book, and I don't reccomend it to anyone else.
