disappointing - Rated
I would agree totally with the previous review, however this DVD is at least a bit more food orientated than the other Bourdain DVDs. If you are looking for an in-depth food programme, then this won't be for you.

Interesting but........... - Rated
I suppose I was being overly naive in expecting to be given a truly real insight into one of the most secretive kitchens in the world.

A very small snapshot of what goes into the cooking at this legendary restaurant but not much given away.

Particularly irritating was watching Anthony B mmm'ing and ahh'ing over the dishes he was served in the restaurant. This told us absolutely nothing about the cooking, nothing about the moleclular gastronomy and nothing about the techniques. It also didn't even serve very well as a restaurant critique. Bourdain is irritating and talentless and it's a shame that Ferran Adria didn't get a really good food critic to do this dvd instead.
