The short stories are all very different and equally delightful. As the stories are short its easy to pick up and put down. For me the book has brought back so many memories of days out to New Brighton - remember when we had great weather from spring through to mid autumn and headed for the beach where the sand always managed to get into the 'Big T' round bread spam sarnies and we had huge wagon wheel biscuits the size of a bin lid (as they were back then!); getting changed from your wet cozzie behind your towel and sitting dithering until you dried off a little? Well, those memories and more will come flooding back for you, too. Its a smashing book and of course some of the money is going to great charities. Buy it, you'll enjoy it.
