I bought this book in a book shop i Berlin during my holiday. I did not know of Susan Jeffers or had ever heard of "Feel the Fear". This book is a must read! I was surprised to find out that it was first published some 20 years ago because it is so relevant today. It has some essential learnings that anyone can use to overcome fear on all levels of live and grow as a person.

I read this book years ago and sadly didn't keep it. I bought it again recently to give to a friend. I can honestly say that although it's at least 8 years since I read it - the philosophy of the book has stayed with me. It explains why it's natural to feel fear, how everyone does and that if you let fear stop you doing things in life.. your world becomes smaller than it would have been.

I didn't really think I was fearful until I started seeing a therapist about a different issue, but actually it comes down to fear. I have a lot of conflict in my head which basically stops me from making decisions/doing stuff, and behind that is the fear of what will happen if I do x, y or z. She was flabbergasted (!) that I hadn't read this, and I now know why!
The premise is fairly simple - either live with fear or face and it and have a more enriched life. But she gives lots of examples and excercizes you can do. It is very practical.
She is American (sorry for any American readers), so some points might be a bit OTT, but overall it is a very useful book.
As with all self help books you take what you need from it.
Worth the money. Hope it helps you.

I can highly recommend this book to anyone who would like to enjoy life more. I found the book easy to read, simple to follow and the results were fantastic! Thank you Susan for one book that has changed my life.

I like the inspirational guidance in this book. It really does make you feel like you can get control over your life and move onwards to better achievements. I like books that leave a positive aftertaste and I have just read To Make a difference which does the same thing. To Make a Difference: The Book That Changes Everything
