This book is fantastic! My daughter is coming up to 8 months old and every single meal that has passed her lips has come from this book!

The recipes are easy and straight forward to follow, and the ingredients are every day and affordable items that you would have at home (unlike some other 'famous' baby cookbooks that I have been bought as gifts). I have used this book since day 1 of weaning.

I especially like that the book is sectioned into different stages so you can follow each chapter as you baby grows, my baby has loved every meal she has been given, I always try it myself first and it's even given me some inspiration!

I have recommended this book to all my new-mum friends.

Very good recipe book - Rated
This is a very good book, however my friend gave me the previous book written by Annabel Karmel titled Feeding your baby & toddler which I found to be better. There are some extra recipes in the new book but I preferred the layout of the old one. It's nice to have them both for the wider variety of recipes but if I was buying again I would buy the previous book as stated above and not the new hardback version.

Great guide to starting weaning. I found the whole process quite daunting but this book gives really sound advice for the first stage and very clear and simple guidlines about what to introduce, when and how best to prepare it. Some recipes are a bit of a hassle but you just need to take the basics and add your own common sense!

This book has loads of recipe ideas to give your baby a variety of foods without being difficult. There are meal planners which give you rough idea but they seem to drop entire milk feeds after 3 weeks of weaning which I don't agree with, my daughter certainly wouldn't have been happy if i'd not offered her any milk when she had only just started weaning. Other than that, its a great book full of little tips and information and I have really found it useful and would recommend buying it. And Amazon was cheaper than other online retailers by a couple of pounds

I have used this book daily since I started weaning my baby. It has taken the stress out of weaning as I can follow the easy recipes knowing that my daughter will be eating no additives. I have managed to build up a stock of frozen food for the days that I do not have much time. I highly recomend it. :)
