We have learnt to buy two copies of Ali's books in this household but as my husband stole my copy I had to arm wrestle my son to read his copy first. He won, but it was well worth the wait. A really exciting read and everything so neatly tied up at the end, even the sad bits ... wish there was another one coming but can't wait to see Electosaur and Stinkomite on the shelves.

I bought the first four of the series for my 12 year old son last Summer, he raced through them and so did two of my daughters and another son and I!! We have all eagerly awaited this final instalment. I had to wait to be second to read it! The stories are so gripping, perfect for any age. My sons were lucky enough to meet Ali Sparkes when she visited their school in the Autumn, so had the first four books autographed.
Especially good for boys who perhaps aren't keen readers. Sad to know there won't be any more in this series, hoping Ali Sparkes has another good series on the go. Bravo Ali. Don't delay, if you haven't read these Shapeshifter books get them all - you won't want to wait for them to arrive once you've got started.

Wow, this was fab, my son devoured it - couldn't put it down - found him at 11pm desperately saying "only two more pages...please"
I read it after, of course, and I was transfixed....and I have to admit I cried a bit too! Wonderful series, wonderful end, well done Ali Sparkes.....it would be nice to think Dax will appear again in the future...
