wallydos - Rated My 2 year old son adores The Snail and the Whale as well as the Room on the Broom. We read them nearly every night. They are also fun to read as an adult compared to many other children's books that drive you potty after the 10th time! Firm favourite - Rated This is a wonderful story with lovely illustrations which my son has enjoyed from age 1. He repeats the words and loves looking at the pictures and talking about all the things going on and naming all the animals etc. It's an uplifting story with a world view which makes the point that everyone has a place in the world, no matter how small. Fantastic!!! - Rated My son and I read this book every day. Actually, that's a lie - I have read it so many times I actually know it off by heart so I recite it to him every day!! Dylan and I both choose this as our favourite (children's) book. We love it. Superb - Rated Fantastic Book, my 3 year old loves the rhyming and i enjoy reading this to him. The illustrations are lovely. An absolute MUST BUY! - Rated This book is so nice to read to your children. My three sons adore hearing about the snail going on his big adventure around the world. They chose this book over and over again. If you haven't got this book in your collection..it really is a must buy!
