Another great story ends... - Rated
I loved this trilogy, and I especially loved this last book! Kai continues to be engaging as he begins to grow and Ping is such an excellent heroine. As with the other books there is a lot of journeying as the pair try to fulfill Danzi's wish for Kai to find the Dragon's Home, and towards the middle of the book I felt the merest hint of tedium as they went from place to place, but this was soon over. I won't say more - you need to read it for yourselves! The ending is wonderfully bitter sweet, and I wish it could have ended differently, but it was so obviously the 'right' ending and the best ending that I have to accept it! Read this trilogy if you are looking for a great heroine and a fabulous dragon-tale.
Dragon Moon... STUNNING! - Rated
DRAGONKEEPER: Dragon Moon is the STUNNING conclusion to Australian author Carole Wilkinson's Dragonkeeper Trilogy, based on the adventures of Ping and young dragon Kai in the Ancient Han dynasty, Ancient China.
The book begins some months, nearly a year, after the ending of the previous book, GRADEN OF THE PURPLE DRAGON, and Ping and Kai are staying at the BeiBai Palace with Princess Yangxin and her husband. The palace is attacked and finally Ping realised that she has dwelled too long. It is time to heed the secret map on the silk square sent to her by Kai's father, Danzi.
It takes some interprettation but soon the meaning is learnt. They move on and soon find themselves travelling along the Great Wall.
Amazing descriptions. Dragon Haven is not as expected. DRAGON MOON is a masterpiece. However, I recommend that the first two books , DRAGONKEEPER and DRAGONKEEPER: Garden of the Purple Dragon, are read first as some of the important factors in DRAGON MOON lay beyond its pages in the first two books.
