Highly recommended. - Rated Faith and Psychology provides an excellent overview of important issues relating to personality and spirituality. I found the book's focus on type theory particularly helpful, as few other writers have outlined its relationship with the Christian church so clearly and with such practical applications. Although this book deals with technical issues such as psychometrics, it does so in an accessible way. Highly recommended. The Churches need this book - Rated This book brings together what may be the unique research into how personality characteristics affect the religion and belief of people. It explians in a clear, concise and accesable way what each of the personality types are and then relates them to how people believe. Being a lay reader in my church i have found that this book has helped me to understand who the congregation are and what they need from worship. I hope other churches will take on board the work of Francis so that we can begin once again to have a church that is the centre of people's lives.

It explians in a clear, concise and accesable way what each of the personality types are and then relates them to how people believe.
