While celebrating the considerable achievement of His Dark Materials, Rayment-Pickard suggests that Pullman's command of the moral high ground over Christianity is not quite so secure as he might wish. An original and intelligent contribution to an ongoing debate. Pullman's fiction - Rated I really enjoyed reading this book.
