The Physiology Colouring Book - Rated Great text, informative, intelligible and reinforced by fantastic diagrams to be engaged with by colouring in. Not so bad... - Rated As a nurse i thought it was time to brush up on some anatomy and physiology, i bought this book as well as its anatomy counterpart thinking a different learning style might help. This is a wonderfully illustrated book not at all like you'd expect from the title. However be weary although this is a colouring book it is extremely advanced and i think it would be more suited to the medics among us then us lowly nurses brushing up on the simple stuff. Innovative and effective - Rated Like the anatomy colour book by the same author, this method for learning worked well for me. The Physiology Colouring Book - Rated Sadly unimpressed, all the pages appear 'cluttered'. I hoped I was getting a simplified and easy to learn version. THE book for understanding Human Physiology - Rated I am a Biology degree student and bought this book thinking it would be fun. It is the best book I have met on my course. It helped me understand even complex mechanisms of mammalian physiology. Its section on renal physiology really makes the mechanisms of the kidney clear, as it does for all other areas. I think this book should be a must for any student of the life sciences.

As a nurse i thought it was time to brush up on some anatomy and physiology, i bought this book as well as its anatomy counterpart thinking a different learning style might help. THE book for understanding Human Physiology - Rated 5/5
I am a Biology degree student and bought this book thinking it would be fun. It is the best book I have met on my course. It helped me understand even complex mechanisms of mammalian physiology. Its section on renal physiology really makes the mechanisms of the kidney clear, as it does for all other areas. I think this book should be a must for any student of the life sciences.
