I read this book when only 12 years old (1988) and it helped me no end. My mum brought it for me and I am forever grateful. I will buy this for my daughter in a few years. Knowledge is power..

Concise, accurate information in an easy to read format - Rated
My daughter is due to be 10 in January 2001 and has just started her periods - or at least is showing the first signs. We wanted a book which whilst needing to be educational, had to be entertaining and had to be a book she felt comfortable reading with us or discussing with us. "Have You Started Yet?" fulfills all those criteria with matter of fact explanations in easy to understand language and excellent illustrations. Having read the book in just a few days, Stephanie is more comfortable and confident about the changes her body is going through.
An excellent informative read however it should be bigger. - Rated
Hi! I would like to recommend this book to all those girls (and boys) out there who are in puberty or are reaching that stage. It is an informative and enjoyable read to all those young women out there who have started or who haven't yet their periods. It explains everything you need to know and has quotes from other young people about their experiences. It explains all about tampons and towels and the advantages and disadvantages. However, I must say, it should be bigger with more pages and cover more about it. I must admit though, I enjoyed it very much me being a 14 year old who has just started her periods. It is a discreet and very factual and informative way of finding out about puberty. It is very good, and highly recommended to all you young people. Thank you!
