Book review - Rated Fabulous book, my daughter has just read this in class and couldn't wait to have a copy for herself. Fab book, great story. Well packaged, fast postage - no complaints at all!! Magic Paintbrush - Rated Bought for my 2 year old but will probably be better for him to follow in 6-12 months time. Nice story though. Still prefer some of Julia Donaldson's other books. Childrens Book - Rated The Magic Paintbrush is a beautifully illustrated rhyming book that the children love to look at whilst being read to. The Magic Paintbrush - Rated My son loves books and Julia Donaldson ones are one of his favourites, he never tires of reading them over and over, and to be honest neither do I. I love the way that they rhyme all the way through, which makes it really easy reading for your child. Great set of books. Nice book - Rated I agree with other reviewers, this is really quite different from the authors previous books. It isn't as fast paced or colourful. I bought this for my 3 year old niece. She liked it but i don't think it will be read as much as her other Julia Donaldson books. It is a lovely book though.
