This is an excellent book on preaching - Rated As usual, Dr Lloyd-Jones as the last of true preachers humbly and rightly takes and exposes the truth directly from the Bible, not from man's point of view which is what most other preachers do. This book is, unlike any other books on preaching, truly concerned about the only important issues on preaching. He by no means degrades technicalities but he correctly points out that those are only secondary to what is truly important. If you are merely concerned about superficial issues of preaching rather than the spirit of it, or if you want to know preaching from your point of view, then choose another book. If you want to know pure preaching from a biblical perspective, you have no other book but this one.
