APPAULING! - Rated 
this book is possibly the worst ive read. i am a huge DA fan and like others was highly annoyed when it was canceled and we all never got to find out the answers to questions like who the familiars were, why was max special, what happened to white's son ray, what happened to lydecker etc.
i was hoping to read the books to finally no what indeed happened. however this book was so badly written it was unreal. an analogy about nerves being equal to greens on the back burner jumps to mind. and the story is inconsistant and deals with the 2nd series and somehow whoever the writers of DA are, have forgotten all about the plot of series 1. nothing is refered to about max and her quest for jondy or the others. we dont no if brin is alive,lydecker alive or anymore about zack.
basically whoever gave the contract to this guy to write the books needs a good slap. frankly some fanfic ive read clearly outstrips this in terms of quality.
in conclusion, the powers that be shoulda just let the fans decide what happened in the end, afterall THEY no what they're talking about.
Skin Game (Dark Angel) - Rated 
The 1st sequel to the awesome TV series. It takes you through a seige as the transgenics from Manticore are exposed to the rest of the world. It is set in Terminal City and the rest of Seattle as Max and her buddies try to figure out a sting of violent mystery killings in the City. Thought to be done by a transgenic, the ordinaries aren't taking too lightly to the thought of a powerful murderer loose in Seattle. The cops and US army as well as the National Guard pressure the transgenics and Max undergoes stressful negotiations to try and resolve the problem... The book is brilliant and a must have in any fans' collection
Well Worth The Read - Rated
This a very well written book.
with brilliant descriptions, fantastic plots and story lines this will be a book which will keep you hooked till the very end.
exciting, thrilling and full of cliffhangers. i recommend you don't hesitate and buy all dark angel books because they are all well worth the money. whether you've seen the series (which is also brilliant by the way)or completly new to dark angel you should pick up this book and prove me right.
Skin Game - Rated
Great book. It keeps true to the story and characters, just like Before the Dawn, but also shows development in them. My only complaint is that in the recap of the end of the tv series that is made at the very beginning, some details and speech are incorrect, which annoyed me.
However, once i'd picked it up, i couldn't put it down. It's just as captivating and exciting as the show. If you love dark angel, I garantee you WILL love this book.
A kickass book from a kickass series - Rated
I am a total Dark Angel fan but I was proper angry when I found out that series 2 was the very end and that series 3 was cancelled so I ordered this book to see what happens after 'freak nation' and I can assure you, it is excellent and that's coming from someone who barely reads books, I mean I read it in 1 day flat coz it was that good. The way it was written was easy to access and the characters are well described in such a way that it remains interesting rather than just boring. Even non-fans are gonna enjoy it coz it is that good but fans will enjoy it slightly more, seeing as they watched the series.
