couldn't put it down! - Rated Great book -- a real page turner, and thoroughly entertaining beginning to end. Nora Roberts should do more of these. You'll love this one, girls!!! I agree with the other review - too short. Roberts journeys to the Wild West with dramatic results - Rated Nora Roberts doesn't usually write historical romances and this one came about via a rather circuitous route. Basically, the heroine in Roberts' contemporary novel Loving Jack was writing a romance and the characters described in it — namely brooding Arizona gunslinger Jake Redman and feisty covent-educated Easterner Sarah Conway — so intrigued readers that they begged Roberts to write the book for real. She did and here's the result, a quick-witted wild west romance that has all Roberts usual grasp of character and scene dynamics but with the added bonus of some dramatic frontier settings. I have just a few niggling little complaints — the gold mine conspiracy seems a little mechanical and the darn book's too short!

I thought this book was great - I could not put it down!!! Very entertaining and an easy read. If you like Nora Roberts, you will love this book and it's characters. I agree with the other review - too short.
