Easy to read book - Rated
I found this book very interesting. It is an easy to read book but provides good advise in how to teach your baby during the normal day (i.e. during shopping, at home, at playground etc).
Most of the actions proposed in this book were performed by me and my wife without realising it. However now that I have read the book, we try to do those actions in purpose....
"Well worth the price!" - Rated
Several of my friends had recommended this book and have said that they had seen a noticeable difference in their child's ability to talk. They were right. This book was easy to read and very practical. I am the mother of twins, and the suggestions were fun and didn't require a lot of extra time. I would recommend it to all parents of children from birth to at least age 3 years.
Important Information - Rated
I found this book to be very interesting and easy to read. I enjoyed the way the author stated the important information in such an easy to read and friendly format. I think that many parents take for granted that their children will learn to talk. This book helped me realize that I can do easy and fun things to enhance my son's development. I would recommend it to busy parents who need good information fast.
Very Basic - Rated
The advice it gives and suggestions it makes will be obvious to most. Anyone with any degree of common sense will already appreciate that pointing out colours, textures and so forth to a child will develop their language skills. I was hoping for a bit more insight as to how children learn and the different stages of their development. Unfortunately these two topics are not covered by this book.
Overall it's not a terrible book but only consider buying it if you really don't have the first clue about kids. I'm hardly a touchy-feely new-age bloke and it was way below me!

I recently received this book as a gift when my second son was born. It was easy to read and very interesting. I only wish I had this information for my first child. I have given this book many times as a baby gift to my friends and family. I refer to it often. It is certainly a must read for parents of little ones.
