Just because... - Rated just because people may have thought that the movie was really stupid doesn't mean that the book can't be GREAT. I would high;y recomend this book to all. I really liked this book, it was a lot better than the movie - Rated I thought this book was great. It didn't seem as confusing as the movie and wasn't so cheesy. It was really scary at times and it made me want to keep reading Book Good-Movie Bad - Rated The movie did not do the book justice. The movie is a ridiculous piece of ** which does not in any way follow the correct storyline. The killer is different and is a character that makes more sense in the book. Not only is his anger justified but you feel his agony and he is not a faceless killer as in the movie. The characters are not shallow or hastily written about as in the movie. It has no stupid or pointless sequels. Do yourself a favor and do not see the movie, read the book. This is great, just as good as the movie. - Rated After watching the movie for more than 40 times i thought that this would be pretty dull, but it wasn't. It is GREAT and just as good as the movie. I could not put the book down as it was so good. The only thing that is not so good about it is the ending, which looks to be a bit rushed... 8/10 WOW, Different from the film and in many ways better!** - Rated MUCH different from the film. Trust me It was published it the Seventies and was based in the vietnam period. Ray has a beard. Helen works on TV. Oh yeah they are telling the story from a year later.
