solid review of mapping techniques - Rated As an undergraduate doing my mapping dissertation I have found this book invaluable as an introductory text. It spans a broad range of relavant topics, and includes a useful practical guide to field equipment and techniques. Although it is a little brief in some sections I would certainly recommend it to other high flying academics
