Useful but limited detail - Rated I bought this book for an up and coming holiday to California where we'll be doing a lot of travelling by car. I needed a map to show all the routes and city streets. The positives first. The map is fairly compact and has both city maps and less detailed maps. It's clearly laid out and fairly straight forward to find things. Now the downside. This map provides the main routes but is lacking in city street detail in the city maps. For the price, I expected it to provide enough detail to find pretty much most of the streets. For example, we love eating at Sweet Tomatoes/Souplantation but can't find many of the addresses on the maps. If you're not bothered about the detail then this may be a good choice, if you are you'll need to supplement with detailed street maps.
