After reading fantastic teen books such as those by Lousie Rennison, Cathy Hopkins and Sue Limb I expected these to be good - they had excellent reviews. However, I found the language irritating and the plot vague. Not a fun read.
What teen life is REALLY like! Totally wacky & original. - Rated
I picked up this book by chance in the shop at Newcastle airport just before a very long and boring flight, not thinking very much of it at the time. I was really VERY impressed! It's like some kind of autobiography! Ros Asquith pinned down the exact feelings of a normal, healthy teenage worrier (as we all are) living a normal, healthy life and depicted it exactly as the insane rollercoaster, stop-the-world-I-wanna-get-off rush of out of control emotions and raging hormones it is. Even the habit writing so much insanity in oddly-spelt short hand gives this book the charm and charisma which makes it a Bible for all the other Teenage Worriers in the world! Kudos, Miss Asquith! Definitely 5*

I've got all the Teenage Worrier books but this is the one I keep with me at all times.It's like having your own special friend always there to help you out AND m,ake you laugh. I would never go on a weekend or even a sleepover without it! I left it a friends house once and now she has bought all the books too. They are just so funny and real. Letty Chubb is such a wonderful charcter, so funny and nuts, and I feel I know her, like she was the sister I always wanted. This will cheer any teenage worrier up when they are down, even if only to skip through looking at the cartoons.
