Pants

Based on the universal truth that all children (and quite a few adults) find pants hysterically amusing, Pants by Purple Ronnie creator Giles Andreae is an unashamedly silly celebration of "smalls" big and small.

Written in the style of a playground rhyme, Pants is illustrated by prolific children's illustrator Nick Sharratt in his trademark bold, colourful style. Andreae and Sharratt's imaginations have evidently run wild with the collection on offer here, including "lighting up at night pants" and "special pants for driving the car", modelled by animal characters as well as people. Frilly, jewel-encrusted, baggy, psychedelic, every conceivable type of pants is here.

What a lovely book. I've enjoyed reading it to our little girl since she was 6 months old as has her dad. Lots of books get tedious very quickly but this one amuses all of us and with the rhythmic text going through the book it's lovely to read, silly and fun with great fun colourful illustrations. She still loves it now having turned 1 and I suspect will continue to for a couple of years yet.

Careful - the song is catchy... - Rated
Got this to entertain the children in the car. Brilliant!! The kids were singing along, we were singing along. It has been requested to be replayed on several occassions, and not just by the kids. The only downside to this product is you find yourself humming it for the rest of the day.

Favourite silly rhyme book - Rated
Hilarious, silly and utterly childish, but what a marvellous read with your 3-year old and even older ones learning to read themselves. Whacky illustrations, easy rhymes with a lilting singa-along rhythm with just enough pages to keep a youngster interested, it has become a great favorite in our family.

Our almost 2 year old daughter loves this story, we originally borrowed it from the local library but decided to buy it as she loved it so much. We also purchased more pants which she adores as well.

All my kids love this book. Ive borrowed it so many times from the library over the years that with my third child Ive brought my own copy. This book is a board book so good for toddlers.

As the Title suggests this book is about pants. Each page has a colourful illustration and is done in rhyme.

"Pants to pick a daisy, pants for being lazy, pants on your head when you've gone crazy."

I have found that very quickly a 2 year old will be able to 'read' as the pictures provide the prompt. Nice addition to a childs library, a bit of fun, not to be taken seriously.
