I loved this!
It was a relief to see that a redisgn had been done on the cover, the previous in the series don't look great, but this is a bit more likable...
Cant wait for the next installment
Mixed Emotions - Rated 
I am rating this book four stars because I did laugh, I did enjoy it and I really like the Shopoholic books in general. However, I did have a few issues with this book when I was reading it.
When I read The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopoholic I thought: "Wow, she's me!" because I love shopping, am ever-so-slightly ditzy and I tend to spend a bit too much money on things I don't actually need. On the other hand, right from the beginning, I thought "Why is she lying?" and "Why doesn't she just face up to it/pay that money?!". I still loved her though and continued to love her through Shopoholic Abroad too. Where my love wavered was in Tied The Knot. The whole story was like a yo-yo and I'm sure every reader mentally begged Becky to make a bloody decision. I won't go into detail because that belongs on the review of another book, but continuin..I liked Becky in Shopoholic and Sister. I thought she was being sweet trying to make a bond between her and Jess.
Now, back to the Shopoholic and Baby review. I did honestly believe that Becky would mature in this book. Suze still loves shopping and designers, but she has settled down and got her mind set on the fact that her children and husband are more important than commercial things. When they were going around that baby fair and Suze was trying to tell Becky about the sterilisers and stuff the baby would really need, while Becky ignored her, I really did think 'For goodness sake, listen to her! You're going to be a mother!'
Becky's limited knowledge of what was actually necessary for having a baby and her greater interest in Baby Urbs Snowsuits did grate on me, and the most annoying thing in my opinion was Becky's complete ignorance to what going through labour was going to be like: I am about much younger than Becky, in college and don't have any plans to have children for quite a long time and even I know that labour is horrendous. How could a woman be so blind to that fact?
However, other than that I did really enjoy this book. I liked the fact that the plot had changed from -Becky gets into trouble which gets Luke into trouble, and it's all resolved at the end with Luke saying it was his fault and not hers-. I liked that Sophie Kinsella had changed it so that it was Luke who was doing something 'wrong' (cue Venetia). I also enjoyed reading the resolution to that when they were in the hospital and Luke makes his little speech about why he loves Becky, and my favourite part of the book was then ending. Becky leaving the house with little Minnie in her stroller: I just hope that the impact of having a baby will mature her a bit/lot.
This series just never gets boring - Rated
I can still remember my husband picking up my copy of `Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic' and flicking through the pages to see what I was finding so amusing. He only read the letter from the bank to Becky and was in stitches. He may never have progressed any further into the Shopaholic world but I've read and laughed through every page in the series and I didn't stop laughing through Shopaholic & Baby either.
I love the escapism of the Shopaholic series - I can pick up a copy and for the day or two that it takes me to devour it I'm transported into Becky's world. Yes she's a shopaholic and she frequently displays a lack of grey matter but I just can't find it in myself to hate her. She makes me cringe, laugh and cheer her on in every book and I've yet to find another chick lit author that does it as well as Sophie Kinsella.
If you enjoy a good laugh, like books that don't take life too seriously and want to escape to Becky's Emporium of Fantasy then the Shopaholic series is for you. She's struggled with debt, marriage and finding out she had a half-sister. The way she coped with each of those obstacles will give you a hint of how she's going to cope with finding out she's pregnant. It's a whole lotta laughs!

having read all the previous shopaholic books i couldnt wait for this one,and it didnt dissapoint!although the huomur and escapism of all the other books was there,ms.kinsella had clearly researched every detail making the ups and downs of becky's pregnancy realistic and believable.i laughed out loud and even cheered in places.i do hope there will be many more,and that i will be reading 'shopaholic retires' when i'm in my 70's.

I really couldn't put this book down. I read it all in just over a day, and i will definatly be reading it again and again!!! I would recommend this book to everyone who likes a funny book. I havnt got bored of the shopaholics books yet, and im sure i never will, as each one is as hilarious as the others. I have been reading other books, but havnt come across one that i enjoy as much as this one. I would say that this is the best one yet and it is definatley a must read!!!
