highly recommended - Rated This book has seven sections each concentrating on a particular aspect of sight reading, including E flat major, simple syncopation, 2/4 time, 3/4 time,3/8 time and revision. There are notes and advice on how to sight read. Each section has several short pieces to play, starting with easy pieces and becoming progressively more difficult. The pieces are surprisingly melodious compared with some other sight reading books, which means you can tell when you played it right because it sounds right, and also makes it a less painful experience for anyone who has the misfortune to have to listen to you practising. When did anyone ever say "What was that you just played? I liked that" when you were practising your sight reading?! It happened to me when playing from this book. Highly recommended.
