Customer Reviews

Described as the 'perfect present' - Rated 5/5
I never knew anything like this existed, so I was exstatic when I found it. The reciever loved it (more than his ipod).
His packed full of information and fun facts.
It's also brightly illustrated and the recipes are easy to follow, even for novices such as myself.

BEANZ BEANZ AND MORE BEANZ - Rated 5/5
very interesting reading, all about the history of beans and some very nice recipes, especially the tomato soup. Maybe a gift for someone who has
evertything? along with a can of heinz?

A cookbook of beans? Surely not. - Rated 4/5
But yes it is. And they're not bad actually. We tried the risotto and the tagine (yes, there's more than "and toast" "and baked potato" in here) and they were both pretty tasty.

There's alot of trivia in the book, it's not just recipes. There's history too, which my boyfriend wasn't really interested in, he just wanted his beans. But then, we have to buy in bulk...

I bought it for him as a gift, and he promised he'd make some of the recipes up for dinner, but I'm afraid it has all been up to me. So occasionally I'll have a look through, read the trivia and history, pick out a recipe, and we're both happy.

So give it to a guy you don't live with.

Very Happy - Rated 5/5
Very good book if you love beans, have really enjoyed doing the recipes. The beans burgers are great!
