The repetitive rhymes and action-packed illustrations in the delightful Peepo! have made this stunning book a favourite for small children and their parents for many years.
This glossy, indestructible board book edition captures the essence of the original and takes even the smallest of children on a peek-a-boo journey through a day in the life of a baby and is ideal for teaching tiny children the joys of handling and sharing books. My dad used to read me this book when I was a baby (I'm now 21) and I'll be reading it to my children (one day). A really beautiful book; gorgeous illustrations, with so much to look at. A must for every child's bookshelf.

This is such a sweet book, perfect for before bedtime. Both my boys loved this book,in fact my 18 month old who won't sit still for anything, sits motionless from beginning to end.I'm just about to buy copy no 3 as the other two have fallen apart from being read so much, just be prepared to read it again & again & again.............

My wife and I read this with both of our kids from when they were around a year old until they were about four. They're twelve and fourteen now but remember it as one of their favourite books from when they were 'young'. Hours of fun.
How often can a book be read... in a single day? - Rated
My 18-month-old boy demands this book at least three times a day; even after that, if he falls or gets frustrated he will stop crying if I suggest he runs off and fetches it so I can read it to him again. The words have worn tracks in my mind: I can now easily tell him the 'story' in bed without once opening my eyes. He loves the 'story' itself, but also likes pointing at things in the detailed and lovingly drawn pictures ('where's the rabbit? the clock? the sock? where's winbson churchill?')... I'm getting more than a little tired of it now - but its appeal for my lad is unwaning. (I'm a bit mystified at the choice of a London wartime setting, I'll admit, but it doesn't seem to bother children!)
Anyway, highly recommended by young Nicolas - almost as much loved as 'the world's best dive sites'. (Don't ask).
Not for us - Rated
A lovely looking book but I have to say that my 10 month old is not at all interested in it. I have to agree that it is more for adults than children. The pictures are too pale and the story a bit dull. Not good for babies.
