"Why wont they die?!" - Rated 5/5
This book was great! I don't want to spoil it for anyone but it kinda reminded me of the 'Of The Dead' film series for the fact that the zombies used weapons.
It was an overall great read and another great book from SD Perry. Not as good as the other books but this was an original novel.
It kind of confused me as events happen in this one which kind of not work in the original RE storyline but besides from that it was great.
5 S.T.A.R.S lol

BETTER THAN WHAT I WAS EXPECTING!! - Rated 5/5
I wasn't too sure how this book was going to turn out because it was a completely new story by Stephani Perry, but after reading it, I have to say I was really impressed.
Perry uses her slick descriptive genius yet again to create the tense atmosphere.
Having previously read the novelisations of Resident Evil 0 and 1, I found it a breath of fresh air to be able to read this book and not know what was going to happen.
This book definitely improves on the Umbrella Conspiracy as it goes into the depth of the characters background and personal life and she has cleverly brought in a feeling of sexual tension between Rebecca Chambers and another character of the story that works very well, making this book more than an average horror story.
Perry has also added some witty/dark humour to keep the reader interested/amused.
This book is better than the novelisation of resident evil 1 because Perry was no longer restricted to what she could put into it.
This book is an exciting and enjoyable read for fans of the horror genre and of the resident evil series.
However, hardcore fans may be put off by the zombies with guns!
Overall this is an excellent book and I would definitely read it again

Brilliant, but almost no connection with the games - Rated 4/5
I bought this the same time as Resident evil Umbrella conspiracies and was let down a little on this book as it doesn't have alot of connection with the games except for Rebecca being the main character.

This book is very good and once again Perry has used some very imaginative and interesting description throughout it. This book is based around a place called Caliban Cove where there is another Umbrella Lab.

Even though this is an excellent book I only gave it 4 stars as it seems that Perry has decided to make up her own little story on resident evil.

But overall this is a must buy for all the Resident evil fans and is thoroughly enjoyable!

I can't believe this wasn't a game!!! - Rated 2/5
This 2nd installment of S.D.Perry's Resident Evil series is set shortly after the 1st game (and book) and shortly before Resident evil 2.

Perry's deications to the story makes it feel like another game, but isn't!!! This book is an interly new story by Perry.

Dispite the introduction of a large group of new characters we never see in the games, this book serves to keep your taste buds watering for the 3rd book, and acts as a wonderful transsion move between the stories of the first two games.

keep reading, it gets better from here on in!!!

Resident Evil 2: Caliban Cove - Rated 1/5
After wrighting “resident evil 1: the umbrella conspiracy” based on the video game Resident Evil, S. D. Perry some how got it into her head that if she wrote an original story carrying on from her last book that it would work, Sadly it didn’t.
Rebecca chambers and an assorted gang of misfits running around a small zombie infested island trying to stop a madman infecting the planet coz he thought it would be a laugh. The book claims to be for mature readers only because S.D decide to bring masturbation and whores into character conversation (I wish to god I was joking).
the first book was good, partly because she had the plot handed to her on a silver platter, showing without films and video games around for her to turn into books she’s pretty much dead in the water.
If you love the resident evil games (and lets face it, who doesn’t?) then avoid like a
T-Virus plague.
