Funny? Not really - Rated
I thought this book was awful! And no, I'm no prude, enjoyed Trainspotting and other books in the same mould but to me this book was just not funny or witty in any way.

This is a really good book if you just fancy something to relax with. It's really easy to read and very, very funny too. The plot basically revolves around four flatmates living in Brighton who happen to stumble across 5 kilos of cocaine. An agonizing choice awaits; do they find the owner? No. Inform the police? No. Destroy it? Wrong again. Or do they use it as irresposnibly as they can whilst simultaneously indulging in wild parties and bizarre sexual encounters? Apparently yes. There are many weird and hilarious high points to this book, but I'll just mention two; the female flatmate shaving the slobbish, overweight flatmate from head to toe and a strange sexual foray which ends up becoming very messy indeed... If that doesn't make you want to read it, I don't know what will!

Fantastic - Rated
This book is brilliant. It is the story of 4 flat mates living in Brighton, who find themselves in posession of 5 Kilo's of cocaine and the way this alters the course of their lives. The characters and the believability of the subsequent effect on their lives, of their discovery is excellent. I also found myself recognising sections of my own Fridays nights in some of theirs. A p*** funny book.
