Successfully inspirational - Rated I bought this book for my granddaughter, hoping to inspire her to take an active interest in the preparation of family meals. More than this, she was inspired to actually cook the meals when she invited her own friends to dinner. Cooking is no longer seen as a chore, the recipes being so simple that she was able to feel a real achievement. I'm delighted with the results. A great starting point for reluctant cooks! - Rated This book is REALLY handy for people who don't really know where to start in the kitchen, if you want to stretch beyond the real basics or add something a bit special to your food, if you want to just learn how to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING then this is the book for you! It's great for meals for just one person, two people or if you're having friends round for dinner. Equally, there are pleanty of recipes that you could use for packed lunches for work and dinners that will last a few days, which is handy if you're trying to eat on a budget...and the tuna recipes are SO simple and quick - I never even realised I was capable of making edible dishes!
