Gilded Tarot - Rated
I was most disapointed in the quality of the cards. They were cheap looking, very thin and would cetainly not stand up to much use. I have seen several sets of Gilded Tarot that fellow Tarot readers have and these I bought bore no resemblance in quality. They were cheap and tacky looking and very, very overpriced for what they were even though they cme with a book. The Gilded Tarot is a lovely deck to use but buy better than this.
Stunningly beautiful cards - Rated
I recommend Mary K Greer's 21 ways to read a Tarot card along with this deck of cards. I got these cards a while ago and although they are very beautiful I couldnt make a connection and then I got Mary's book which teaches you how to read the picture, emotions and attitude of the card first rather than trying to remember what the actual meaning of the card is.
Excellent for beginners! - Rated
The book is clear, easy to read and precise. There is no confusion and it gives you activities to do to better your skills. The cards are truly beautiful - so colourful and amazing to look at. Very easy to use too. Highly reccomended as a first deck or just buy it anyway just to see the amazing cards!
Beautiful tarot deck...my favourite - Rated
This is an amazing tarot deck, the colours and images are stunning. I've had two tarot decks before this one and the colours of those seemed too wishy-washy for my liking. If you like deep colours...dark blues, purples, golds, silvers, reds...then you'll love this deck. The set comes with a book which I've yet to delve into but on first glance it looks like a pretty good starting point for someone new to reading the cards. There's also a black organza bag and small card box which keeps the cards nice and protected.
NOT THE BEST - Rated
I have a few packs of cards and thoughts that this pack looked great they were a gift for a friend, i gave them to her and i sat while she OPENED the box and wasnt happy. i know i could have sent them back but i thought the cards would have some gr8 pictures on, the people on the cards looked like what i think my 6yr little brother could have done with photo shop, the fact that all the faces on the cards had what looks like real peoples faces on them. to be truthful i was very disapointed, all i could see when looking at the pack were photos slaped on top of cartoon images. they not cheap cards and i thought the images would be a lot better, if u like that type of image they may be for you but i was disapoint with the cards they just felt like a pack of playing cards you would give a child to play snap with, even i felt the book which came with the pack not very well laid out, i have books on tarot my self and i feel u couldnt use any other book to help with reading the cheap looking cards, just a disapointment
