Perfect reassurance - Rated 5/5
This was the only book I found that dealt with both the good and the worrying sides of pregancy. Having had two miscarriages, I had lots of niggling worries thoughout my third pregnany - this book saved my sanity!

I can honestly say that this book was my pregnancy bible and I would recommend it to anyone. The book is set out in useful, monthly chapters and each one begins by telling you what your baby's doing and what you may be feeling - physically and emotionally. Then there are frequently asked questions covering both the normal and not so normal! There is also a chapter specifically for dads-to-be, practical information on what to do if you suddenly go into labour and have to give birth at home, information about birthing options, multiple births, diet and exercise, and what to expect during the first few weeks after birth.

All in all a fantastic book! Oh, and I now have 2 lovely healthy little girls!

Super book - Rated 5/5
I bought several pregnancy books, this was the best one. Very easy to read and no scary pictures / descriptions. I found the content very easy to follow and a great reference point throughout my whole pregnancy.

I also purchased "What to expect the first year" I have used this a lot since my daughter was born 12 weeks ago.

All you need to know and more. - Rated 5/5
This is a great book/bible on pregancy. Tells you all you need to know month by month. Great layout of information in a FAQ style. All three of my pregnancies have had problems from stillbirth to pulmonary embolism to placenta preavia and this book is truly informative in all areas of pregnancy, helping to put my mind at ease and preparing for what to expect.

Brilliant month by month advice - Rated 5/5
Great to dip into and look at specific issues as they become relevant, or to read all at once to know what to expect in the next few months. All I needed to know was in here.

User friendly, ideal for first timers like me - Rated 4/5
I bought this book when I first found out I was expecting my now 16 month old son and found it a great reference tool. As well as being in a month by month format, it also has "problem page" style pages where all those questions you were afraid to ask are answered. As a first time mother I sometimes felt some of the questions I wanted answered were silly but this book solved that in a realistic and non patronising way. All bases are covered from morning sickness to signs of labour, scans, twins,Caesaereans and miscarriages. Its an ideal companion for in between ante natal appointments and I will certainly be keeping it for baby number two.
