A Series Metz Should Be Proud Of! - Rated
You cannot really compare the books to the TV series as they are so different despite the similar story lines: aliens crash land on earth, grow into teens to share both teen and alien angst...poor blighters! Metz's writing is superb. She describes simple things like smells and tastes with such gorgeous imagery (see the beginning of book 8 for a gorgeous piece of writing on Max eating a chocolate bar with the conscious), you can almost be smelling and tasting with the characters. The written series seems to end with a similar bump to the TV series but they are well worth reading to get to know the real characters that Metz created before they were transferred to the TV screen. Exciting, funny and touching.
If you love the t.v series youll love these books..... - Rated
Liz Parker gets shot by a man in her dads cafe, Max comes over and savs her with his "alien powers". The book is basically about Isabell and Michall wondering weather Liz and Mariah and Alex will tell anoyone about their secret. But they are all friends in the end when they form a connection!! :)
This book is just as good as the series, if not better. - Rated
after watching the first season of roswell i found this book to be different, but still very good.
Brilliant! - Rated
I watched two episodes of Roswell High and I was totally hooked! Then my friend bought this book and gave it to me to read, and I thought it was fantastic! She also bought another book in the series, but this was unfortunately Number 4, and now I have to buy 2 and 3. This is a brilliant book and one of the best things about it is that you find out more about the characters then the T.V. program. I totally recommend it!!
