oompah oompah fantastic - Rated
My two boys of 4 and 16 months just adore this book. I borrowed it from the library but I really need to buy a copy of our own now. The images are bright and imaginative and will give you a lot to talk about. The rhyming story is well thought out and totally hilarious. The language of the aliens is like a comedy sketch - 'inky pinky elakmar' - which my son keeps on repeating. My older son is not reading yet but he knows the languages inside out. The images of the aliens eating is just sooo well drawn and urgh. Buy this book. You will not be disappointed. Funny, funny, funny.

Kids up to 8 will love this book and will read it over and over. It's very funny!

We Fell Off The Chair Laughing - Rated
A great book with funny illustrations on every page, which give you plenty to talk about. The punch line of the story is the fact that a photograph of your childs class is the very thing which frightened the horrible aliens away, giving a good opportunity for irrereverend hilarity. The story is written in rhyme and flows beautifully, but we really did fall of our chair laughing.

An hysterical story with funny rhymes, fantastic illustrations and a chance to wow your children with your alien voices. Gory but not frightening, this will be an immediate hit but be prepared to read it over and over and over again, and to answer some rather unanswerable questions! A perfect 4th birthday present.

this is a fantastic book that just gets better with every read,the illustrations are a feast for the eyes,the children enjoy listening to it again and again and we never tire of doing so.
