Excellent for students - Rated I have found this book of great help to my students. It is well informed on all topics and raises questions not met in other works of this kind for A level. It offers an excellent model for answering examination questions. A refreshing study text - Rated Contrary to your other reviewer I find this book very professionally written and in a style that could well be imitated by pupils of the highest ability. To suggest that it is written to accommodate the medium to low ability range is both patronising and very wide of the mark. As for content, even this reviewer allowed that it was very up to date and comprehensive, so much so that "every teacher should have a copy" As a teacher myself I have found the book highly accessible to my pupils and, moreover, a lively source of ideas that have furnished many hours of interesting debate. The way it stands apart from other more repetitive works in this field makes it a worthy addition to any school's resources A Book for Students - Rated I am pleased to recommend this book for students of A/AS level who are studying Philosophy of Religion and Ethics. The essays are relatively concise but easy to read, up to date and come straight to the point. As an addition to other sources they are an invaluable source of preparation for answering examination questions.
