I am just back from a holiday in London and would have been lost, literally, without this excellent book. It is a convenient sized book (20mm x 12mm) 215 pages, that is easy to carry, there are inside flaps to mark your place and the spiral binding is user friendly. But it's the useful information inside that counts. It is compiled in areas eg. "Westminster and the South Bank in a Day" and this sets out a suggested itinerary such as 9.30am Westminster Abbey, 11.30am London Eye etc. this gives you an idea what's in this area and how long a time to dedicate to the attraction. A small map of the area is included showing the nearest Tube and Rail stations for that area. There is a complete Tube map at the back of the book and also detailed street maps of London. There are good sections giving useful information such as Getting Around with advice on Travelcards etc. which saved me money on tube and rail fares and how to use the Underground, easy when you know how. There is advice on shopping and buying theatre tickets and many more facts and information. This a really useful little book and I can happily reccommend it. The one I took to London was borrowed from a friend but I have now just purchased my own copy!
