This, along with the Blood Brothers are the 1st books I've picked up by Nora Roberts and my honest opinion is WHY? I found I couldn't put them down, usually I take approx 1wk per book, read both of these within this time limit, I just can't wait for part 3. I'm not a hardened thriller reader and I suspect if you are, these are light reading for you, however I found myself absorbed and there is a love story thrown in for good measure. Excellent.
Better than Blood Brothers - Rated
This book is the second in the sign of seven Trilogy. We meet Fox and Layla. Fox's fight with the evil that skims the edges of the Hollow is more personal - and heartbreaking as a result.The tension in this book is cranked up a notch, as the stakes being played for are threateningly real.
You won't be disappointed with this book, but am looking towards book 3, since Gage has some serious issues that he needs to deal with.
An excellent middle chapter - Rated
This is a fantastic follow on from blood brothers and was consumed in one night. Ms Roberts is a genius at trilogy's and this part concers Fox and Layla, as well as giving more insight into Gage and Cybil who will complete the trilogy in December. As always her dialoque between the characters will have you laughing one moment and swollowing a lumb in your throught the next, and as the six try desperately to defeat the evil, MS Roberts builds up the tension expertly that before you are aware of it, you are at the edge of your seat. My only question, Why make us wait till December till the end?
