Got me writing my own stuff - great book - Rated I read this years ago as a teenager. It was my first SW book and I was hooked. I now write fantasy myself because of this and many other books. Very great book and Kevin J. Anderson is one to remember and lock in your wish list. Tales of the Bounty is a Starwars fans must have.. - Rated Its a great book with five different stories detailing IG88, Denger, Bossk, 4LOM and Zuckuss and Boba Fett. All great stories and worth a read, I loved the one about IG88, although not sure if its canon or not, read it and you'll see what I mean. A great piece of background - Rated This series has always been one of my favourites, simply for how it expands on so many characters. In the movies, we often only see a glimpse of characters, and these books really bring them to life. This book charters the tales of the six Bounty Hunters Darth Vader hires to capture Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back. From Boba Fett's hunt after Han Solo to his escape from the Sarlacc to the IG-88 rogue Assassin droid who has much greater schemes of grandeur than simply capturing Solo, this book is a brilliant read for any Star Wars fan. It contains 5 tales written by authors such as Kevin J Anderson, Kathy Tyers and Dave Wolverhampton, focusing on Boba Fett, Dengar, Zuckuss & 4-LOM, IG-88 and Bossk, their hunts for Solo and their own personnal feuds and problems. A highly recommended book! not the best just to compleat the history of star wars - Rated Dont get me wrong the book is well writen but not the most intresting part of the star wars history. Jabba's Palace - Rated I have recently read quite a few of the Bantam Book Star Wars series and they are very addictive. The reason for that is that you always like to find out that much extra about characters from the Star Wars world. Jabba's Palace does exactly that, most of the people mentioned you may not know by name. It links into the Return of the Jedi film and tells you what happens prior to R2D2 and Seethreepio arriving at Jabba's Palace and concludes some time after Jabba's death. It is very interesting as it is a series of short stories telling about life in Jabba's Palace which used to be a Monastary. It gives lots of views of the events but from different view points. For example there are numerous plots to Kill Jabba and several of them came very close to succeeding. One of the stories I found most interesting was the one telling you about the Sarlaac and what it was like to be inside it being eaten!!. A most enjoyable book and an insight into characters such as the Gamorean Guards, the Rancors keeper and Salacious Crumb.

Dont get me wrong the book is well writen but not the most intresting part of the star wars history.
