Although my Audiobook review is already on here, it doesn't really refer much to the text.
This is a dashing story from everyones favorite fox, Basil Brush. The legendary character has written a book on his life, on the trip to the showbiz world.
I wasn't quite expecting something like this. It's quite a mature book which adults could enjoy without feeling patronised since i presume this is for children. Its quite a funny tale and i think you will get quite a few laughs from reading this. So if you like Basil Brush, like light-hearted stories and want a good read- this is the book for you.

I found my favorite foxes book online, I couln't resist buying the audiobook, read by Mister Basil himself. What i found was this.
I did like the story. Ok it got a little corny and kiddy in places, like his 007-like-story, but it was an intresting read/listen(!). But something i found disapointing was the Basil Which read this sounded somewhat wierd. Ok, I'm used to hearing a Basil who says very little other than HaHaHa BOOM BOOM but this was a little wierd. However, it was really good listening, and I really enjoyed it.
I think all fans will enjoy this story, old and young...even if it is written for the younger generations. Something to fill the stocking for xmas maybe, and definatly a funny, intresting story for everyone to enjoy.

I really enjoyed the jokes in this book. It is a really funny read and I would recommend it to any other fellow Basil fans, or anyone wishing a good laugh and a light read.

I was a fan of Basil Brush and had to buy this when I saw it. I was going on holiday and this was perfect holiday reading. All the corny jokes you'd expect. Fabulous!

I saw this and just HAD to buy it! The long overdue autobiography of the legendary Sir Basil Brush! I read it in two sittings and loved every moment - its full of charm, wit and a heafty dose of nostalgia. As Basil himself says, he so English that if he cuts himself he bleeds tea.
