OK if you are a vegetarian - Rated If you like a healthy level of meat in your diet you won't get much inspiration from this book. I have used one recipe from it. Worth buying - Rated This is a fairly simple but extremely useful book and very much a worthwhile addition to one's culinary bookshelf. And at the price, it's a bargain - you can't go wrong really for four and a half quid. Easy Cooking - Rated I cook alot at home and was after a few simple new recipy ideas to take to uni. It's full of them!!! This book also offers advice on top food to always have in your cupboard and food to suit all occasions from a quick snack to a dinner parties, blow-out sunday lunchs to slimming meals. There are also a wide aray of veggie dishes available from classics to round the world dishes. One negative point about the book is that it is a paper back with no pictures, dirt easily gets absorbed on the pages and you have to use your imagination when deciding what to cook. Genius - Rated This book has to be the best student cook book i have come across. It provides some handy hints from money saving techniques to tips on how to store your food . With simple easy to follow recipes to three course meal menus (just in case the parent ever visit...or you want to wine and dine someone!). There is a large variety of recipes including lots of vegetarian ones. It has an easy to use index and even has a leftovers guide, this give you the recipe you can use up your leftovers on.
