Couldn't put it down - Rated
This is the first Jill Mansell book I have read and I can say I love her style. I really enjoy a light-hearted, romantic story I can get lost in. The characters are fantastic and with her writing style, you feel like you are in the story sometimes. I simply couldn't put it down! Fantastic read and along with The Chocolate Lovers Club, my favourite book.
Another Jill Mansell Winner - Rated
I'm on a Jill Mansell mission! Over Christmas, thanks to my lovely sister, I came to own ALL of her books (apart from the very latest one which i'm waiting for in paperback). That's how much i love her writing. Anyway, about this book...
I loved it. It's the 5th one i've read. The only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars is that, to be honest the 'big mistake' didnt last long! i mean most of the book is about after the thing happens. Which isnt so bad really. Miranda was a really likeable character, infact most of them were. Apart from Greg and Daisy. Florence is a great character, and had me laughing many times. And i could totally imagine how Danny Delancey looked. Very handsome! he's one of my fave characters. and i thought the name Fenn Lomax was great for a celebrity hair dresser! Anyway i will leave it at that and please do not hesitate to buy this book or any Jill Mansell book. (despite my review for 'fast friends' but you might like it)!
lovely lovely romcom - Rated
This book follows Miranda and her up-and-down lovelife. just like buses, theres no men around then three come at once! watch Miranda find out her new love, Greg, pregnant wife is her new housemate. how will British racing champion, Miles Harper, fit into her life with his celebrity model/actress girlfriend? and what will Miranda do about Danny Delancy the tramp/journalist who likes to wind Miranda up?
funny funny funny, definately a book that will keep you turning the pages and loving the characters.
Not a Mistake to Read!! - Rated
I love this book, this one is really my favorite from Jill, it made me laugh, cry and left me feeling warm and fuzzy, not depressed. It is a warm well written enjoyable book, and I confess that I have read it quite a few times over the years. What are you waiting for, if you have not already bought, hurry up!
I've met the real Jill - Rated
Having met Jill recently I was naturally curious as to her work, although it had to be forced out of her as to what she did for a living!
All of the books I've read are so different, yet, as a true romantic, happily turn out right in the end, which is so heartwarming these days.
Miranda's is another classic!
You will NOT be dissappointed I assure you.
ENJOY
